Elementor #8488

About a month ago I shared my story about ADHD for the first time. The positive response I received was overwhelming and your support really helped speed up the process of acceptance. So thank you!
In previous jobs, I rarely told anyone about having ADHD and I certainly didn’t want any special treatment because of it. As a result, I burned out again and again. I’m very proud to say that this time around I opened up to my employer and I want to thank them for giving me the opportunity to heal and find out how to deal with it.
I know I am not the only one struggling with having a neurodiverse brain in a neurotypical world so I asked myself the question: What do I want to leave in this world? What is my legacy? The answer couldn’t be more simple: Helping other people who still struggle to fit in to thrive.
It feels extremely vulnerable to share this very first post but as I was writing it I realised so much has already changed from the time this story took place. I know myself now, I’m not hiding anymore and I take care of myself and soon I hope to thrive again.
